My understanding of a fable
Hello everyone! Today's blogpost is about my understanding of what a fable is! A fable is a very short story for children and uses animals as the main character doing human-like things which is also called personification. A fable also has a moral in it so it can teach children different kinds of lessons. A fable also has to have a setting we all know such as the river or mountain. A fable is not only for moral telling but for entertaining as well. The plot and character has to be simple as well so its not hard to understand the story.
I am making a fable and the moral of my story is what happens in the dark comes to light which is what Dhar Mann uses as the moral of the story he makes. My plot is kind of simple and hard i think. Basically there is this one boy the dog who keeps making up excuses (without his parents knowing) to his teacher the wolf because he doesn't want to do homeworks and then one day the teacher rings his parents to find out why the boy hasn't been doing his homeworks. After the teacher found out the boy got in trouble and learned his lesson. That is my plan for the fable!

Hello Nora. Well done, you have understood the features of a fable and explained them in your first paragraph.
ReplyDeleteYour second paragraph is your plan which should go on slide 12 of your Fables slideshow. With your moral, do you mean that if a person is dishonest, he/she will be found out in the end? You have all the ideas to write a good fable, Nora. Check out the Slideshow. Kia Kaha.
